Welcome back!

Welcome back to school, everyone!! Hope you all had a restful, fun and relaxing June holiday. As for me, I had a fun trip in Turkey. Will post more on that later. What about you? How did you spend your holidays? Care to post some pics here? For the rest of Term 3 and Term 4, we are going to use this new blog to connect everyone to news, updates, events and happenings :)

For a start, this is going to be a short week of 4 days as Friday is E-learning and there's no school. There will be the 100th Anniversary musical at night. I'd be busy co-ordinating the food and refreshments for the teachers and participating pupils. Please take note that I'd be on a floating time-table, which means I will also be teaching the afternoon session. I will not need to report to school early on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays.  So if you are looking for me on those days and I am not in school yet, please leave a note at the General Office to put into my mail tray.

Do add your comments or questions here so that we can have some feedback from all of you :)

Stay healthy and have sufficient rest as Term 3 is going to be a roller-coaster term ahead!

    1. Well people in Turkey might eat turkeys cos I do see a few in the farms. But they generally eat chicken, fish and beef or mutton. Most of the food are halal, meaning, no pork or lard. The meals are usually served with bread, a soup, a salad, some meat kebabs and very sweet desserts. I'm now in school but once i'm more free, i'd post some pics on the food and places, I promise.

  4. Dear Mrs Tan,

During the June holidays i did not travel to any country but I had fun in Singapore. I had went to many places like the Marina Barrage to fly the kites and playing the water, another place is Takashimaiya and that’s my sister’s favourite place because every time we went there is always organised the toy’s fair, I also manage to play with my cousin Sean(Primary 3) because he has a lot of tuition class and art and craft. Evey time we meet each other, We always exchange cards(they are Animal Kaiser but I play too) and I had many cousins but they are all like Sean. Sometimes,he and his two younger brothers(Sky and Xaiver) comes to my grandfather and mother house to play the toys and also Xbox Kinect . At home , i play Xbox Kinect .I had a younger sister called Ashley and she is now K2 but she is learning the ABC,123 addition and subtraction and learning how to talk . Fortuanely , Ashley's Doctor called Doctor Loo and tells my Father and Mother a child has the same illness and manage to talk after half a year .Yesterday, the teacher come to my house and observe her and allows her to take her. My Father ,My Mother and I was very happy and we hope she can go to P1. And you must have enjoyed your trip to Turkey.
Mrs Tan Please noted that during the national day week , I am going to Vienam , Hanoi

  9. Hi Mrs Tan, I went to Hainan Island (China) for the school holidays. As it was summertime there, it was very hot. So it was the perfect time to drink coconut juice. It felt very cool and refreshing. In total, I went to 4 different hotels, and for one day, i stayed in my relative's house, in total, i stayed there for 6 days and 5 nights. If you ever go there, go to BoAo and eat in a restraunt called Ao Zhuang Choice Seafood House. I would recomend the prawns, He Le Crabs, Mussels, and the fried sweet potato. I also got a spetacular view of Tianya Haijiao. and Sanya too. I had a very enjoyable and memorable time there.
